Christian Education

The purpose of Christian Education is to oversee the total educational program of the church to ensure provisions that will create and cultivate a learning process that will allow persons to seek to come into a right relationship with Jesus Christ, help the converted to grow into their discipleship, and equip disciples for the work of the ministry. 

Components of Christian Education are:

 

Sunday School

The purpose of Sunday School is two fold:  1) Teach the gospel of Jesus Christ  2) Strengthen individuals and families by encouraging them to study the scriptures, obey the commandments, receive the essential ordinances, and keep the associated commandments.  It is comprised of the following: Adult Class, Teenage, Pre-Teens, and Primary. Sunday School is held on Sundays at 9:15 AM.

 

New Members

The purpose of the New Members Class is to orientate new members into the Greater Love Fellowship with Christian love, enthusiasm, knowledge and excellence.  The ministry goal is  "To prepare God's  people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up "  Ephesians 4:1.  In order to accomplish this purpose, the New Members Ministry has member orientation classes on second Sundays at 9:15 AM.

 

Bible Training Institute

This class presents an opportunity for individuals to learn specific topics as it relates to the bible and to receive a certificate of completion to show proficiency of their knowledge gained.  Some topics include the following: Biblical Beliefs, You and Your Bible, New and Old Testament Survey, Growing Towards Spiritual Maturity, Church History, The Triune God, Music & Worship.
