Church History

Greater Love Church of God in Christ began as a vision in the heart of our pastor in 1996.  Under God’s anointing and direction, it began as an outreach center in 1997.  It continued on for the next few years conducting outreach activities such as community bible study, drug recovery group, single parent ministry and a youth mentoring program as God touched people’s lives where they were.  In August of 1999, God began to give our leader new direction and a greater call to do ministry. Greater Love was ordained and consecrated by God as a Pentecostal/holiness church with belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ according to Act the 2^nd chapter.  Its’ membership rest as a chartered member of the Churches of God In Christ Inc. which ministers to people throughout the world. Our pastor teaches us that we are a ministry on fire for God and that we are to do our part reaching the world one person and one life at a time, which is done by meeting them where they are, and loving on them like Jesus.
